They drained Superman and Wonder Woman's powers upon saying their name. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman pursue the remaining Djinn Abnegazar, Rath, and Nyorlath where they plan to reopen Calythos' fissure. "Abate and Switch (Shazam Slam: Part 4)" Upon Uthool transforming Batman into a bat monster, Superman ends up fighting Uthool to get him out of Batman. When Uthool suddenly disappears, it turns out that Uthool has possessed Batman where he defeats Booster Gold, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg, in his plot to have the Hall of Justice's core temperature break the Earth's mantle. Working with Green Arrow, Batman chases after the Djinn Uthool. "Night of the Bat (Shazam Slam: Part 3)" Superman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter try to stop the Djinn Calythos who has possessed Parasite during his rampage at Stryker's Island, steals their powers, and plans to use his scimitar to raise a volcano in Metropolis as part of the Brothers Djinn's plot to revert Earth back to its primordial state. "Classic Rock (Shazam Slam: Part 1)" īelieving he is saving a homeless man from strange creatures while on patrol in Gotham City, Batman intervenes for the Wizard who is on a mission to save Billy Batson from Black Adam when he unleashes the Brothers Djinn from their imprisonment in the Rock of Eternity.

The series features the adventures of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and all the members of the Justice League as they fight various megavillains and other threats to protect Earth. The first season concluded on June 3, 2018, marking an end to the series. The show debuted on Cartoon Network UK on November 26, 2016, and premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on December 16 the same year. The series is produced by Jim Krieg, Butch Lukic, and Alan Burnett. Period.Justice League Action is an American superhero animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero team Justice League. I, for one, prefer letterbox as it gives the show a more epic and cinematic feel. I'm absolutely delighted that Cartoon Network airs JL in letterbox format as well as full-frame. The composing team also does a great job with the music, and I REALLY hope that somewhere down the road, they release a CD of this music. I love the character design and animation of him, and I don't think they could have gotten a better actor to voice him than Carl Lumbly (who played Stalker in a few episodes of Batman Beyond). Hawkgirl is a great addition, and boy can she hold her own!! But the character that has emerged as my favorite is J'onn J'onnz, aka Martian Manhunter. Kevin Conroy, as always, is great as Batman, as is George Newbern as Superman. Even so, this show TOTALLY blows me away every time I watch it. I knew this was going to be a good show, given the fact that Bruce Timm and the same team responsible for the WB/DC animated shows were doing it.
